Using Stories To Learn

Storytelling is a powerful way to share cultural, moral and social entertainment and education. We're using storytelling as a tool to enable children to listen to the Greek language and develop their oral and listening skills while at the same time, enhancing their imagination.

The complete Anna collection is a set of 24 short stories about Little Anna, narrated by two little mice. Anna lives with her parents in a little house with a picturesque garden. Two little mice living in the roots of a big tree in Anna's garden, follow her and share the stories of her daily life. These stories have been written for children in early primary school, particularly Years 2-4. Children are immersed in each story and then participate in learning activities based on each one. Designed to engage and enhance children's imaginations.

''Pontikakia" is a great and inspiring foreign language e-learning series for young learners. It develops the child's basic language skills and profoundly expands vocabulary.  It is interactive, which means that there is a demand for the child to think and respond. "Pontikakia", which is available in several languages, not only helps the child to develop speaking and listening skills, but prepares students to understand the written word. I have adapted it as a necessary and vital teaching tool in my classroom. My students have never been so engaged in the lesson."

“The books are very nice, very meaningful and highlight our true heritage, culture and everyday life. I enjoy reading these books and recommend them”
